With that question in mind, I looked at some of the most stable constitutional democracies in the world (the U.S., Canada, the U.K., New Zealand, and Australia) to determine if they now meet the definition of a dictatorship. The results were interesting. But first, let’s define each term, so we’re all on the same page.
Democracy
Simply put, a democracy is “rule by the people”. The most important characteristics include political and personal freedoms, free and fair elections, and equality under the rule of law.
Dictatorship
A dictatorship is “rule by an individual or a small clique”. There are little or no individual or political freedoms, elections are usually for only one party, and the rule of law favors the dictator and his cronies.
How does a dictator take over a country?
History has shown most dictators seize power through military coups or revolutions. Fidel Castro in Cuba is a good example. He replaced the old government leaders with his friends and relatives (like Fidel’s brother Raul). Those who opposed Castro were eliminated.
Some dictators seize power over time like Adolph Hitler. His Nazi Party became so popular with the German people in the 1930s, he was proclaimed Chancellor and then appointed himself Fuehrer.
But that can’t happen in my country, can it?
Yes, it can, but probably not by military force or revolution. In stable constitutional democracies, the coup would probably be gradual. Power would shift from the government to a small group of powerful elites. A puppet government leader would be installed to carry out their agenda.
The people would slowly adjust to the “new normal”. The puppet leader would promise a new way forward. The economy and financial systems would change giving the government total control. People would become totally reliant on money from government programs. The social fabric of society would be weakened and people would be more amenable to becoming a single unified movement in line with the policies of their dictator.
I know it sounds crazy, but doesn’t it also sound familiar? Democratic governments around the world implemented similar draconian policies during the recent pandemic. They closed and destroyed small family-run businesses while declaring large multi-national businesses essential and allowing them to remain open. They closed schools forcing children to learn in isolation away from their friends. We saw videos of their Gestapo-like police forces using excessive force to arrest people who broke “the rules” and even church leaders for conducting Sunday services. The most inhumane measures of all were forcing the sick and elderly to die alone without loved ones at their bedside. Then the government limited or prohibited family and friends from attending the funeral.
And let’s not forget the people who lost their jobs and careers for exercising their absolute right to sovereignty over their own bodies by refusing an experimental drug injection.
Blame the Puppetmasters
I would never have believed governments like those in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., New Zealand, and Australia would act like dictatorships, but recent events prove they certainly are.
But the reality is, those governments are not in control. There are powerful forces behind the scenes pulling the strings. Sounds crazy, huh? Here’s how President Bill Clinton in 1996 responded to a reporter’s question about the disclosure of information on UFOs.
Here are several other examples of famous people from politics and industry talking about the hidden government puppet masters.
Who are The Puppetmasters?
No one knows for sure, but we know who they control. All you have to do is look at what happened during the COVID-19 pandemic.
What businesses and services were declared essential and remained open?
Who continued to receive their paychecks throughout the pandemic?
Who profited?

Democracy? or Dictatorship? - 10 questions
I put together this set of questions to assist you in determining if your government and its puppet masters are acting more like a democracy or a dictatorship. My answers are in italics.
1. Does your government attempt to control and direct your life through coercion and repression?
Once again, there are numerous examples from the COVID pandemic—forced masking and quarantining of healthy people, continual testing for “cases”, and if no jab—no job or travel plus the ridicule and threats aimed at the unvaccinated.
2. Is your government attempting to destroy and rewrite history with an ideology that better reflects its philosophy?
Tearing down statues of historical figures and demanding talks and lectures at historical sites conform to a certain philosophy. Also, school boards (on behalf of the government) replacing school textbooks and curriculums with government propaganda.
3. Is your government pursuing a goal and will put all of its energy into achieving it including funding a proxy war?
Ukraine
4. Do you question the legitimacy of your elections?
The following offenses have been proven beyond a reasonable doubt: Dead people, non-residents, and non-citizens voting in elections. Hundreds of thousands of late-night ballot drop-offs, fraudulent counts by corrupt election workers, and let’s not forget reprogrammable and fraudulent voting machines. In many instances, charges have been laid and more are expected.
5. Is your government discouraging or suppressing individual rights including freedom of speech and peaceful protests against their policies?
Covid-19 vaccine mandates for everyone including those with innate or acquired immunity infringed personal rights and freedoms. Also, parents who spoke at school board meetings or other gatherings deemed to be against government policy have been investigated and interrogated by police. The truckers’ protests in Canada were suppressed by the police and the leaders were imprisoned or fined. Anyone who financially supported the truckers’ movement had their bank accounts frozen. Oh, and pro-life protesters are attacked, harassed, and arrested while pro-choice protesters are not.
6. Does your government allow or encourage large-scale organized violence or protests that assist their goals?
Yes. The Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots that killed many and destroyed hundreds of businesses received little or no condemnation from the U.S. government, and the media. Few, if any, of the perpetrators have been arrested and tried for their crimes.
7. Does your government ridicule or persecute groups of people in an effort to disparage them?
This happened to the unvaccinated and any healthcare official who advocated or treated COVID-19 patients with therapeutics like Ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, and vitamin C.
8. Does your government censor or alter all forms of communication for its own purposes?
Governments worked with corporate-controlled media and social media platforms to broadcast their message and censor anything or anyone who disagreed with their pandemic and vaccine mandates.
9. Do your police forces operate outside the law and circumvent citizens’ rights and freedoms on behalf of the government?
Numerous examples of videos recording brutal law enforcement tactics perpetrated on innocent citizens. The human rights of these citizens were violated. The attacks were ordered and sanctioned by the same government that guaranteed their rights and freedoms were inalienable.
10. Do you feel like all your laws are made by one person?
Two great examples come to mind: Presidential orders in the U.S. and The Emergencies Act evoked by the Prime Minister of Canada.
So, are you living in a dictatorship?
Over the past many years, our world has been moving towards a dictatorship by a small elite group of powerful people. They own and control not only governments, and most large businesses, but also worldwide organizations like the UN, the WHO, and most importantly, the World Economic Forum of Davos, Switzerland. Davos is where the power brokers, the CEOs of large corporations, and puppet government leaders meet every year to decide our future. You can check them out at weforum.org
Oh, and it’s easy to find out which politicians and business leaders are members of the World Economic Forum. Just Google their name with WEF after it.
Is there anything we can do?
First, we must defend our democracy because it is our best defense against war and tyranny. History proves that no stable constitutional democracy has ever gone to war against another constitutional democracy.
Once a tyrannical dictatorship is established, the only means to topple the dictator is by military coup or revolution. And that is only possible with those willing to lay down their lives for freedom. There are always brave people willing to do that.
Here’s someone who was
The Mexican Revolution of 1910 resulted in the overthrow of a dictator named General Porfirio Diaz and the re-establishment of their democracy. One of the heroes of that revolution, Emiliano Zapata shows what he was willing to do to save his country.
Until next time, remember, curious and skeptical is a good place to be.
